This website

We do not initialize website analytics or advertising trackers. Your theme and language preferences are saved in your browser using local storage. You can remove these preferences by clearing this website’s browser data. Your selected language is also sent to us if you join the waitlist.

When you join the waitlist, we store your email address, selected language, and signup time in Google Firestore to manage your request for a launch notification. We use your email for that notification, and you can withdraw your request and ask us to delete your waitlist entry by contacting contact@kanjibuddy.app.

Cloudflare hosts this website, and Google provides the waitlist database. Connections to these services involve technical request information, such as your IP address, needed to deliver the website and submit the form.

The Kanji Buddy app

The Kanji Buddy app processes data separately from this website, such as optional account backups and crash reporting. See the app's Privacy Policy for details.

Children's privacy

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will address it.
