The service
This website is a preview of Kanji Buddy, an app for learning Japanese kanji and kana, currently in development for iOS and Android. Pricing, availability, and feature details may change before launch.
Acceptable use
Use this website lawfully. Do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or submit someone else’s email address to the waitlist without their permission. Any use of third-party licensed material remains subject to its applicable licence.
Intellectual property
Our original website design, code, and branding belong to NAMI BYTE S.R.L. Third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. Kanji and vocabulary definitions are derived from the JMdict and KANJIDIC2 dictionary files, maintained by the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group (EDRDG) and licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0. Stroke order diagrams are derived from KanjiVG, created by Ulrich Apel and licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0, available at kanjivg.tagaini.net.
